Day Eight: Dance To The Music!

Another day, another nothing. Borefest. Went to work. Worked. Came home. Homed. HOWEVER!! I spent the WHOLE day listening to the best song in a long time. Maybe my 3rd favourite song EVER. What is it, I hear you scream. Well it's O.A.R: Shattered.

I'm so tired and really have no motivation to write anything of any substance. This is the worst blog of all time. Goodnight!!

*runs off crying**

Anyway, this photo is of the same park as in the previous blog [Day Two i think], but it focusses on the "Band Stand" and it looks very different at night! Wow, how thrilling!

Obviousness & One Year Celebrations!

Okay, so like you don't! But I had no other photos, nothing caught my eye and so I had to create a photo. Well that was kind of depressing so I bought loads of chocolate as comfort. Seriously though, if I'm struggling for photos on my 7th day then what am I going to be like in a week? Something needs to happen in my
really boring life.

So, today I posted the One Year Episode of my fiction The Tide. I'm so happy to have reached this landmark a sI love writing it. Shameless plug, but who cares. Go read it now!

Anyway...anything else? No. God, what an awful blog. Today was really, really crap. Jesus wept.

On The Sixth Day...

So God created human, right? Or maybe it was Sony Cybershot camera, allowing Callum to snapshot the sun setting. Or maybe it was light pollution and dodgy eyesight.

I really like todays images, which is why my camera probably decided to play silly-buggars when I tried to connect it. All is well, however, and the pictures were imported. My day was about as constructive as God's Seventh Day, I went to work ... didn't create an Adam nor an Eve, but we can't all have the same job now, can we?
Cycling 4 miles in this weather is hazardess and I swear I almost died 3 times. Once because some daft bint (Eve) didn't indicate, another because the ice almost threw me into the road (Noah?) and the third one was totally Adam's fault (okay, mine...) when he was too busy looking at some other Eve (would I...?) I love the way it all looks so effing sunny when we all know what the conditions are like.

In other news, I watched a new episode of One Tree Hill - and it involved a rough and ready Sophia Bush kicking the absolute shit into a guy and holding him at gunpoint. Is it wrong it was very, very hot! Oh, not to mention her new film - The Narrows - the trailer was released and I swear I almost had a heart attack when they showed a sex scene. Holy Christ, is this Eve looking mighty fine! Thanks, God. The Sixth Day rocks!

So, anything else happen? Oh yeah, my mum finds the pictures of my New Years party on Facebook. Isn't really happy we put road works across the street at midnight and wouldn't accept my excuse that we w
ere having a 'street party'. Although I think her ears did prick up at the word 'party'! Ach! And she also didn't like the photos of me and somebody else in a boiler cupboard...do not ask, even I don't know...

...although it was a great night. And in the end it would've been very different (and less ... entertaining) if me and my mates had gone out instead of stayed in. The cost, for a start...and just like The Beatles said...money can't buy me love...;)

Day Five: Let's All Do The Snow Shuffle!

Isn't that the best view? I'm so pleased with the way this photo turned out, I'm just to....shall I stop lying now? So this is a photo from a Calendar I saw at work and I thought it was pretty apt for the type of weather going on around us at the moment. Plus I love it. So I stole the calendar.

Back at work today, and it's not as bad as I thought it would be which is a relief.
Maybe I was glad to get out of the house for a good while. I was in such a foul mood
yesterday, I'm just feeling so suffocated by my parents. Like, they want me to act like
an adult yet they're not willing to treat me like one and trust me. I had this mini-party and they disapproved with one of the guests I had. At the end of the day, I help pay the rent and I feel that I should have at least a say about who comes to my party - I don't know whether I'm being really immature or if I have grounds to be irritated by it. Ach, I dunno.

Anyway, the next photo was something that just caught my eye so I took it. I was walking through town on my way home (the police ban you from riding you bike, can you believe it!). You have no idea how much my eyes were searching for good photo opportunities. This was the best I could find...

...until tomorrow, goodbye!

Photo Four: For The Bored...

A photo is said to say 1000 words. What does this one say to me? It says that, unsurprisingly for a Sunday, the wave of inspiration that usual hits me full force passed over my head and landed somewhere along the shores of far, far away.

Despite a surge of new music being synced onto my iPod, and over 1000 words being written on my ficiton, I still couldn't find anything that caught me photography-wise, so to cure this [and to escape the family for a bit] I went for a walk and all I found was a frosty park. Perfect? That's what I thought, but no. The photos were vile.

So instead I decided to put my energy into moving my room around a bit and so the end result was this photo. It's not great, I know. Infact, it sucks more than a Dyson, but it's all I have for today. I guess it's symbolising my clock-watching. I'm back at work tomorrow and the time has gone so fast.  I'm hoping tomorrow will be another story and I'll be able to share some good photos with you guys...

...not 1000 words, but it's all it said to me...

Project 365: The Third Day & Other Things

Okay, so today I did some exciting stuff. Well, it excited me anyways. I was up at 9am to go for breakfast at the local builders cafe, and it was revolting - poached egg on toast. Never again. I am not a breakfast person - and even less one after today.

The photo on the right is of the park at the bottom of the town centre. It looks really nice weather, but it was -2 and frosty - I guess that's the magic of Photoshop's "Soft Light" filter, no?

Okay, so after I had the breakfast from Hell, we made the decision to see "Yes Man" - at 10.50 - the earliest I've ever been to the cinema. Stepping out of the cinema while it was still light was surreal. I felt like a drunk person stepping from a pub at lunch. Not nice. I then met up with some friends. All girls. Big mistake. Shoes, clothes, cosmetics. Why did I do this?! As you can see, I'm totally rocking the bobble hat. Or not. My friend on the left actually purchased this hat, but it suits me better. Just don't tell her that!

So after Mrs Selfridge, comes Boots - for earplugs and condoms and lube (okay, so those last two were an accidental 'almost-purchased' belated Christmas present for one of their mums...not intentional!) The glasses section is amongst the best area of any shop ever (although the trip to La Senza was quite inspiring!). And so comes my third and final picture - these glasses were purple and uncomfortable.
Do I carry them off? I don't think so, somehow...I'll leave it up to your judgement...

Time For Admission...

I'm prepared to admit to you, my fellow bloggers - that I have an addiction. No, not drugs. Nor chocolate. Or Walkers' Sensations [although...]. No, my addiction is Miss Sophia Anna Bush. If this year is going to be super than I need to be honest with myself - I am an addict.

Rehab, please...[one as close to North Carolina as possible. Thanks]

Project 365: The Second Photo

So time for the second photo. This, is a huge part of my life. My music. My laptop. My removable hard drive. Why? I have memories on the computer, I have my writing and my music is my soundtrack to my life.

This, is what drives me. It's all my hobbies on one table and today I've been writing, I've been listening to music and I've been backing up my memories. It's been a great day.

Project 365: The First Photo

So, we roll into 2009. With clear heads and minds? Once, maybe, the hangover fades. And as the bandwagon passes, who am I to ignore it's call? Exactly. So here is born my Project 365. A photo of something...anything...everyday of 2009.

Day One: Jimmy Eat World's self-entitled album. Why? Well I bought it today. And I also loved it more than usual today. It's going to be "the album" and it's the first album I put into the hi-fi in 2009. All simple things.
